Rome Sweet Home: Our Journey to Catholicism by Scott Hahn and Kimberly Hahn is a book that helps dispels a lot of the myths about the Catholic faith. Scott Hahn is a great writer and speaker. Both Scott and Kimberly have had an incredible spiritual journey together that led them eventually to embrace Catholicism. Scott has a deep love for Jesus and the Church which is evident when you read the book. Scott has converted many readers over the years.
If you have faith and are interested in God, who exactly He is, and what you will do in the after-life I suggest you read my book as well entitled "The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message For Everyone," It also deals with Jesus' Passion. I think if you liked Scott's book you will love this book. If you are searching for HOPE in a seemingly hopeless world, look no further.

A wonderful account of the "coming home" of the Hahn family. Scott Hahn, now a well-known Catholic theologian and speaker, was originally a Protestant. This book is a very compelling account of how Scott found Catholicism and perfectly described the trials and tribulations he and his family endured while converting. If anyone needs a spiritual shot in their arm, this book is the perfect remedy.
Rome Sweet Home is an interestingly told story of a Journey of Faith by a couple who are already highly committed Christians. The story is told from the perspective of both spouses in turn. Because of the depth of their search, it is also nearly a catechism. Highly recommend for those wanting to know more about the Catholic Church and those in RCIA or teaching RCIA. Over the years my wife and I have personally bought and distributed more than 65 copies.
